Screen capture tools
Here are several screen capture tools (all free of download and use) that i am currently using:
If you want to capture still images of your computer screen at will, I use Screen Hunt (http://www.wisdom-soft.com/). It is a desktop application. Small in size. Can be sitting at a corner and waiting for your call. You can choose a fold to store the captured image. The best of this tool is the image quality.
Screen shot is a browser add on. So if you use Firefox or Flock, you can find it from add on/extension list. It adds a menu in your mouse right click. I use it because it is convenience and because it will upload the image to a website (for now, picasa, flickr, and facebook) for you. Otherwise you can save your captured image locally. the image quality it captures isn’t as good as the Screen Hunt.
If you wan to capture motion pictures and make them as a slide show, I use Wink. Wink (http://www.debugmode.com) is a Tutorial and Presentation creation software, primarily aimed at creating tutorials on how to use software (like a tutor for MS-Word/Excel etc). Using Wink you can capture screenshots, add explanations boxes, buttons, titles etc and generate a highly effective tutorial for your users. Most people might vote for Jing. I can understand why. Jing probabaly has more features and is fansier. But wink is more simple and hand for the jobs to be done. Wink captures images one by one as long as you have not stopped it. Then it will connect tons of image shuts together and make a swf file. You can upload the files to anywhere you like and publish it.
